This foam-cutting band saw needed it’s blade guard to be very high so the customer integrated a two-hand control unit and motor brake. We we designed and fabricated both for easy mounting onto their machine. This machine now stops in just a few seconds.

For this customer we provided a modified IMB unit so they could simply wire it into their existing Chevalier Surface Grinder and continue to utilize the machine’s OEM controls. We included an illustrated installation guide.

This customer installed our three-phase unit on their 2.0HP 24″ Disc Sander. It now comes to a complete stop in just a few seconds (instead of 3 minutes!).
Note: In order to prevent inadvertent button presses, we generally advise that control panels not be mounted in an up-facing position.
